As the weather warms up, it’s the perfect time to start planning some outdoor fun! In addition to the parks, trails, and outdoor spots that Berks County families love, there’s another great way to get outside together: StoryWalks!
So, what is a StoryWalk? A StoryWalk is a children’s storybook displayed page by page along a walking path or in a public space. Families are encouraged to move from spot to spot to read each page, combining literacy, movement, and outdoor exploration all in one activity.
Each location features different stories that rotate throughout the year, often with seasonal themes, so there’s always something new to discover and a fun way to keep little ones engaged and moving!
