Healthy Kids Day is the Y’s annual, nationwide initiative and FREE family event designed to inspire all youth, parents, and caregivers, regardless of membership status, to get active and make healthy choices over the summer and beyond.
The YMCA of Reading & Berks County is partnering with Berks County Parks & Recreation to host the Y’s annual Healthy Kids Day with other community vendors on Saturday, April 25, 2026 (rain or shine), encouraging families to take a moment to help kids be kids and set them up for a summer of success. This family- friendly event features a Kids Color Run, hands-on activities and games, demonstrations, arts and crafts, and more to motivate and teach families how to develop and maintain healthy routines.

Get ready to run, laugh, and get messy! Sign up your kid(s) up for a fun-filled race with music, color, and endless smiles.
Chicken BBQ Pre-Order
Fuel your fun at Healthy Kids Day. Pre-order a Nolt’s Chicken BBQ meal and pick it up at the event.
Chicken half, baked potato, applesauce, dinner roll, and a drink.
$16 per meal. Order by Tuesday, 4/15/26.
